Your children will learn: Different Riding Styles (Western, English, Driving), Livestock Health & Happiness (feeding, grooming, bathing, lunging, and basic medical treatment of horses & cattle), Livestock Behavior (reading body language & what it means, horses & cattle in the herd, prey animal responses), Training Techniques (working cattle, roping, driving the mini-donkey and horse in a cart, fixing unwanted behavior, bareback, ground work, and for the more intermediate & advanced riders- working with young horses). We focus on actual riding, so they will be riding every morning for an extended amount of time, play games, and much more.
-Wednesday pack a lunch because they will be with us all day with dinner, a movie, and a sleepover in the bunkhouse, so bring a sleeping bag.
Don’t forget to pack shorts and a bathing suit on Wednesday.
-Thursday is the only day parents, family, and friends are invited so you can come and watch the children in the gymkhana so they can show some of their new skills at 10am in our arena.
-Thursday we will BBQ, so bring a side dish or dessert.
