Voyagers
Ages 3-5
Voyagers’ camps take place in the museums preschool classroom and are taught by our friendly preschool staff. The camp format includes circle (story) time, songs, arts and crafts, activities, games, free time, plus supervised exploration of our exhibits and Outdoor Discovery Center. It's the perfect chance for your child to try out preschool at the Village. Please note: Campers must be completely potty trained.
Scientists
Ages 5-7
Scientists gain greater independence as they explore science, art, and history. Campers try guided experiments and investigations, share their results and interpret the world around them through art. The use of hands-on experiments, real museum objects and project-based learning encourages campers to think like scientists. Our educators strive to ignite a passion for learning that will last throughout the school year. Scientist camps are best for kids who have completed a year of kindergarten.
Inventors
Ages 8-12
Inventors work on leadership skills as they explore citizen science, working with real museum objects and solving problems that contribute to actual scientific studies. Campers catalogue their experiences through photos and videos that are uploaded to a private page on our website for campers and their families to enjoy and share.
