Camp Staunton Meadows - A Small Summer Camp on a Big Farm! Camp Staunton Meadows is located on beautiful rolling hills along the Staunton River in Southside Virginia . Our 420 acres of pastoral and wooded lands laced with springs and dotted with animals entice any aged camper outside for an adventure. A 13 acre private lake and swimming pool offer refreshment on a hot summer day as well as the chance to learn to canoe, swim, fish, and sail. Main camp is located on the hill above the lake and includes boys' and girls' cabins, our health center, camp office and dining hall.Our campers participate in their activies in our full compliment of facilities: historic horse barn, modern stables, Olympic size riding ring, miles of horse, mountain bike and hiking trails, tennis courts, soccer field, basketball court, high ropes elements, tree climbing areas, initiatives courses, archery range, arts and crafts area, and dark room as well as our go - cart track! Our lake offers plenty of fun. Lake front facilities include: the blob, dual zip line, rope swing, water slide and the "roller coaster". We also have a pier specifically for fishing and floating dock for on-the-lake instruction or just hanging out.
