Lift the anchor and get your sea legs ready for a summer sailing camp, where a child's love for navigating the sea can translate into a lifelong skill and hobby.

Dive into the world of sailing by learning about the anatomy of a boat and the many vocabulary words to describe its actions. Your kids will quickly pick up on the meaning of hoisting a sail, charting a course, and how to work with the tack and jibe. Sailing camps also offer the expertise of many well-seasoned seafarers who will teach them how to exert self-sufficiency, cooperation, communication, and courage when floating among both calm and rough waters. As one of the most ancient sports and modes of transportation, history recaps will be sure to make the first lessons as well.

Explore the expansive waters of Earth during a program with sailing trips, where your kids can travel by ships both band and small and get a true taste of what a sailor's day to day life is like. Weeks and even months-long trips offer the opportunity to navigate the great blue and take part in activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, and studying marine science at the source. Some Caribbean Island trips also focus on community service or environmental restoration. Whether your children are shipping off to coral reefs or a remote island, the intrinsic reward of setting sail will stick with them for a lifetime.

Teach kids the importance of survival skills while they learn independence and leadership aboard a ship. Children may practice first-aid and CPR to prepare your kids for any situation, whether they're on or offshore. Team-building exercises and map reading will also teach them vital skills if they plan on having outdoor adventures as they grow older. Whether your young ones are interested in learning how to helm a little boat or a yacht, summer sailing camps can teach them to race safely against their friends or navigate river waters with confidence. Whichever path they choose, it will be sure to give them a strong sense of confidence and freedom.
