Since 2013, The Aldershot Performing Arts Summer Camps has offered vocal and acting training to children aged 7-12 year, in the Burlington area.
The camp offers group vocal and acting training taught by two qualified, experienced instructors; Christy Lamphier (BMUSA, BA, MSCED,OCT, ORMTA) and Lynne Scott (BA). Between them, Lamphier and Scott have over 25 years of experience teaching and performing music and acting in the GTA. Both instructors have valid police checks and extensive experience teaching children of all ages.
At the camp, the students will learn about the joy of performing in a fun, positive environment, building confidence and co-operation through vocal warm-ups, songs, improvisation, games and lyric/script memorization. The week will culminate with a final performance for friends and parents.
Optional before-care starting at 7:45am and after-care between 3:30pm-5:30pm.
*There will be a $5.00 per hour before and/or after care fee per student per day*
Students are required to bring a lunch (peanut/nut free) please.
Camp t-shirts are included in the fee.
