Award-winning summer STEM research programs for teens include: Biological Research, Applied Physics Research, Chemistry Research, Neuroscience, Biomedical Research, Forensic Science, Neuroscience, Biotech and Pharma, Mars Mission, Veterinary Medicine, Marine Biology, Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry, Engineering, Emergency Medicine, Human Genetics,  and STEM Entrepreneurship.

Outstanding gifted high school students attend our three-week programs, as well as our one-week programs, featuring Forensics, Anatomy, Intro to Surgery, Intro to Biotech, and many more. Students develop high-level research skills and subject matter expertise that strengthen credentials valuable for college admissions, interviews, and essays. Our graduates have been accepted to top universities.

Programs are led by teachers with impressive credentials and who have experience teaching high-achieving students. Many teachers have won major teaching awards and/or hold advanced degrees from Ivy League schools. Students excelling in honors or advanced STEM classes are encouraged to apply. Students hypothesize, design, test, and present findings at a conference at the end of the session. Programs draw upon the incredible resources in the Boston area, home to many of the best universities, hospitals and biotech companies in the world, for field trips and guest lecturers. Students from more than 25 states and over a dozen foreign countries have experienced our programs.

Programs are held at the Dana Hall School, Wellesley, MA, Gann Academy, Waltham, MA and Longwood Medical Area, Boston, MA. On the weekends, residential students, accompanied by counselors, take the train into downtown Boston. Students walk the Freedom Trail, ride the swan boats in Boston Gardens, have Dim Sum in Chinatown, feel the ocean breeze as they watch sailboats and cargo ships in Boston Harbor, and catch the magic of Boston sports by visiting Fenway Park. Students have the opportunity to tour campuses of the some of the leading colleges in the world such as Harvard, MIT, and BU.

In their free time, Boston Leadership Institute students enjoy playing volleyball, soccer, and frisbee on playing fields. Students love playing on the tennis courts and basketball courts as well. They can also run along the many paths located on the gorgeous campus.
