Since 1910, the Boy Scouts of America has instilled Timeless Values of Character, Citizenship and Leadership in each young man who has entered the Scouting program. Camp Cedars continues in this strong tradition by offering an innovative weeklong program for Scouts of all ages.

Camp Cedars is conveniently located just 40 miles west of Omaha and only 3 miles south of Fremont, in the scenic Platte River Valley. From the Webelos Scout who just joined the troop to the veteran camper who is returning for his fourth or fifth year, Camp Cedars is the place for you.

The goal of Camp Cedars remains the same since it's beginning in 1940, to provide every Scout with the summer of their life! To achieve this goal Camp Cedars hires a staff of over 70 professional and energetic Scouts and Scouters, most of who are Eagle Scouts, from all over the Midwest to give your Scouts the personal attention they need.

Camp Cedars is operated with the highest concern for the safety and welfare of every Scout. This includes an on-site health facility with certified staff available at all times. The camp's commitment to quality and maintenance of high professional standards has earned Camp Cedars the highest accreditation by the Boy Scouts of America for 13 years in a row!

With a 50-foot climbing tower (The tallest of its kind!), the second longest ZIP line, 600 feet, fifteen campsites, with the addition of the new "Three Feathers" campsite, a constantly expanding C.O.P.E. course, outstanding equestrian program, state of the art shooting sports arena featuring archery, rifle shooting, black powder and shotgun ranges, Olympic size pool and lake to keep your Scouts cool on those hot summer days, Camp Cedars own newspaper "The Cedars Journal", and our nature center filled with unique and exciting animals. How can you not join in all the excitement? Our dining hall, trading post and nature center are air conditioned for your comfort.

Leaders can come to Camp Cedars with confidence that their Scouts will experience an adventure filled week that they will never forget.
