Camp Kee-wanee is an inclusive summer day camp with an emphasis on the arts and the fostering of self-esteem.
This is a local day camp in my area that focuses on performing arts and the standard day camp activities like arts and crafts, swimming and games and activities. My daughter loves this camp and has been attending for several years. The staff is a wonderful mix of teachers, young adults who love kids and older teenagers who are learning to be counselors. It's a wonderful mix of youth and experience. They have a weekly guest instructor who does fun things with the kids, they swim usually twice a day and at the end of each 3 week session, the kids put on cute plays with homemade props and dancing and singing. Wonderful day camp!
