Camp Med-O-Lark is a co-ed summer camp for children ages 8-16. Founded in 1967, Med-O-Lark is on a pristine three mile lake in Washington, Maine. Med-O-Lark is the original non-traditional, non-competitive camp in Maine. Med-O-Lark offers an all elective program in which campers create their own schedule from a wide array of activities such as dance, theater productions, music recording and performances, culinary arts, circus arts, visual arts, photography/cinematography and 15 handcraft workshops. A complete selection of watersports includes wakeboarding, knee boarding, wake surfing, water skiing, kayaking, crew rowing, canoeing, sailing with sunfish and lasers, synchronized swimming and much more! Sports offerings include, horse back riding, tennis, soccer, martial arts, ropes course, fencing, mountain biking, archery, volleyball, yoga, pilates ultimate frisbee, fishing and more. Med-O-Lark is home to more than 20 recently renovated camper cabins. Each cabin is equipped with at least two individual hot water showers, toilets and sinks. The relaxed style and atmosphere allows friendships to form quickly, therefore enabling the adjustment to camp life to be as smooth as possible. Buffet style meals at each sitting. Salad bar and veggie options at lunch and dinner. Fresh fruit available all day.
