Overnight summer camp is a unique experience needed in our world today. Children and youth are constantly bombarded with messages about who they are and what they should be. In many cases, these messages define them.
In the loving, caring Christian community of residential summer camp, campers have the opportunity to hear what God’s word says about them and respond to its message of grace and hope.
For some, summer camp is the first time they hear such a radical message compared to what our world offers.
This is not a new phenomenon; God has connected with people in a camp environment for decades. And God still speaks to people today in the quiet moments of residential summer camp; surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation and unplugged from the routine daily noise that is part of everyday life.
