Join us for an excellent riding and residential experience packed with fun-filled activities to help you learn to ride and improve your riding with our Director of Riding, James F. Morris. Our campus includes multiple outdoor rings, the indoor Mars Arena, hunter trial field, and trails for your enjoyment during your stay.
Campers will live in air-conditioned dormitories on Chatham Hall's beautiful 360-acre campus and will work on riding themed activities and crafts in the evenings. Jump designs, stick pony creation, on-foot horse shows and more are mixed with s'mores nights, ice cream treats and other summer fun.
Sessions I and II of Chatham Hall Summer Riding offer mounted and un-mounted lessons designed to improve the skills of the rider as well as adaptability to new mounts. Session III is designed as an intensive program for advanced riders, including current Chatham Hall students. Riders will work with riding faculty and guest clinicians focusing on adaptability for interscholastic competition. Camp Session III ends on Friday; however, for those interested, there is the option of staying to participate in an off-site show (Inquire; weekend show costs not included in camp fee).
