Filmtech's summer camps for teens are a fun and creative way to spend the summer. Your child can choose our Film and Video Production Camp or our Acting camp. One-week and two-week camp sessions are available. Located in South Philadelphia at Filmtech Film School, the camps offer your child a challenging real world experince in filmmaking and acting as they learn how to write an original script, shoot the project, operate a video camera, work with lights and microphones, and learn the techniques of acting for the camera. They get hands-on experience using Final Cut Pro editing software on our Mac computers to edit and complete their project. At the end of camp each camper receives a DVD of the project they worked on and a certificate of completion.
