Free Heart Stables Horseback Riding Camp

Looking for a fun way for your child to spend the summer? Look no further. Free Heart Stable's summer day camp will give your child the opportunity to spend a week in the beautiful outdoors surrounded by horses.

Our camp is a great opportunity for kids new to horses as well as for experienced young riders. Our camp consists of daily horseback riding, horsemanship lessons, craft activities, and horse-related games to create a fun-filled, exciting week for you child. We have safe, experienced horses that our campers are sure to love and loads of exciting and educational games.

Throughout the week campers learn colors and markings of the horse, parts of the horse, parts of the saddle and bridle, and bandaging during their horsemanship lessons. Campers will also learn practical skills such as grooming, tacking, and longing. During craft time, campers will have the opportunity to make their very own horse treats, paint horses, make a picture frame complete with a camp photo, and decorate a camp T-shirt. And of course, campers will all ride for a full hour everyday.

Campers will be expected to bring a lunch and water as well as wear sturdy footwear with a heel appropriate for riding. Clothing should be comfortable for physical activity and suitable for the weather, which is often hot in the summer. Helmets will be provided.
