Global Leadership Adventures

One company that offers quality summer volunteer program for high school students is Global Leadership Adventures. It focuses on service abroad and has programs all over the world, so students are able to make a difference while immersed in another culture. Their staff is amazingly supportive and motivated to teach and inspire the students. I went on their Peru: Service in the Sacred Valley trip and I share so many great memories and experiences with my group members. We built a greenhouse for a local village in Cusco, Peru that will provide them with a way to grow their own food. It was so special to visit the local school and play with the children and teach them English, and the fact that our service work was going to help them grow up into healthy adults made it even more worthwhile. We also went on hikes, camping trips, sightseeing tours, and watched cultural presentation to learn more about Peru. Because of Global Leadership Adventures, I feel more connected to Peru and wish to continue making a difference.
