Our Counselors strive to motivate the children, to encourage personal growth, increase self confidence, to understand their individual differences, to interact with them, and to make each child feel special. Counselors are trained frequently through educational classes and are CPR and First-Aid Certified.

Field trips - Children are offered a variety of experiences. Some trips encourage physical activity like swimming and bowling. Others provide educational activities such as the Nature Programs at Patuxent River Park or social studies lessons at National Colonial Farms. And, of course, some are purely for the fun of it!

For your child's safety we always have more Counselors on field trips than required by state regulations.

When not on field trips your child will have a great time with the daily events and activities we have planned such as:

reptile show
learning how to make balloon animals
face painting
cooking treats
art & crafts
science fun
field day
and water play
