M.E.C.C.A. camps are a great way to foster your child's creativity and self-expression while inspiring them to care for the environment. Through a series of hands-on projects incorporating discarded and found materials (donated by businesses and individuals), campers create works of art and learn about the waste stream.
M.E.C.C.A., the Materials Exchange Center for Community Arts, is a nonprofit organization located in Eugene, Oregon.
Our mission: M.E.C.C.A. is dedicated to diverting scrap materials from the waste stream and into the creative endeavors of our community. M.E.C.C.A. provides access to low-cost arts programming in an inclusive environment that enhances the cultural life of Lane County.
