Newton's Attic offers a wide variety of hands-on STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) day camps with an overnight option the week of July 20th in partnership with the Life Adventure Center. Campers can choose two, week-long camps from 16 different offerings during their week at Newton's Attic and will then participate in evening outdoor activities including a night hike, zip line, rock climb, ropes course and cabin camping at night.
Camps the week of July 20th nclude Robotic Gladiators, Fun with Quadcopters, Camp Catapult, Build Your Own 3D Printer, Minecraft Mod with MCreator and Java, DIY Rocketry, Rube Goldberg Machines, Chemistry, Comparative Anatomy, Art Rage, Photo Manipulation and Programming with Scratch.
Newton’s Attic day camps run weekly throughout the summer from May 26th through August 14th. In addition to the 28 different summer course offerings for ages 6 to 17, we also offer unusual activities such as G-Force, the 125 foot long human sling shot, the Ballista (aka the Pumpkin Chunker) and tennis ball cannons. Day camps are held at the Newton’s Attic facility in Lexington, Kentucky. The week of July 20th offers a unique overnight option for out of town guest including an airport pickup and four nights at the Life Adventure Center.
