Camp Sessions include SOUL!, a look at how African-Americans use art, music and dance. Art understanding and apprecation will be explored.
Eager Readers- 6-8 year-olds will read a different children's book each day learn about it through games, crafts and activities like making thier own fossil, helping a pioneer family load a wagon, and scavenger hunts through the Ohio Village.
Invent Ohio- Camper will explore the important, usefull, and some times silly inventions from Ohio that changed to world. The week will end with campers presenting their own inventions to the Ohio Village Patent Office.
Space Staion Armstrong- Campers will explore air and space through the years by following in the footsteps of famous Ohioans like the Wright Brothers and Neil Armstrong. They will desing and fly paper airplanes, be crew members at a space station, and make and launch model rockets.
Grandparent Camp- A great chance for family learning and fun as a grandparent and grandchild spend the week together. This years camp focuses on family history. Campers will make a family tree, design their own family crest, and us the OHS archives to look up a newspaper from the day they were born.
