REALgirl® is a groundbreaking and innovative program created by Life Coach, Educator and Self-Esteem Expert, Anea Bogue, M.A.

The content of the program fills in crucial gaps that might be missed at home and at school with regard to central issues and essential life skills every girl/young woman needs for healthy maturation, development, formation of healthy relationships and the opportunity to reach her own unique and highest potential. What is a REALgirl?

real: re-al (adjective) -genuine: authentic. Not imitation or artificial.
REALgirl: (noun) - A girl committed to the ongoing mission of discovering, being and becoming her authentic self, mentally, physically and spiritually. She is dedicated to consistently developing and protecting her skills, knowledge, confidence and courage so that she may make informed choices from a place of self-knowledge, self-respect and strength. Most importantly, a 'REALgirl' recognizes that she is the author of her own path and is defined only by herself - not by the media, society or anyone else.

REALgirl® Empowerment Program Activities

REALgirl® Empowerment Program Formats:

• 5-Day Summer Camp: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 3 PM
• 1-Day Workshops: 9 AM - 3 PM
• 9-Week After School Program: One day a week for 2 hours

REALgirl® 5-Day Empowerment Summer Day Camps

Monday - Friday 9 AM - 3 PM (After care available in certain locations)

The week long, Monday thru Friday camp format provides an outstanding and more intensive opportunity for girls to discover their 'REAL' (authentic) selves during the all-important summer break. Junior and Senior sessions specifically target girls ages 9 to 12 and those 13 to 16 years of age. They are conducted from 9AM to 3PM and are available this summer in multiple locations throughout the Greater Los Angeles area, including Pasadena, and Northern Califonia. REALgirl® 1 or 2-Day Empowerment Workshops

Tailored days 9 AM - 3 PM (After care available in certain locations)

We offer this format to schools and organizations that can provide space and participants. Administrators are asked to choose 2, 3, or 4 of the 9 modules that address the areas of greatest concern for the group. The workshop is then customized to the group of girls based on their needs. This workshop format is most suited to groups of 14 to 28 participants, though it can be customized for larger groups. All materials are provided, such as personalized journals, art materials, snacks, resources for the girls and their parents and more. REALgirl® 9-Week After School Empowerment Program

Once per week, after school for two hours, for nine consecutive weeks. Each week one of the nine modules (see below) is covered, focusing on a different theme essential to girls' healthy development.
