Riverwoods is a community outreach ministry headquartered at a camp. Throughout the year Riverwoods sends full-time staff members into under-resourced communities of the Fox River Valley (40 miles west of Chicago) to provide mentoring, tutoring, open gyms, kids clubs, youth nights and more. During the summer, these youth come to our 85-acre facility on the Fox River in St. Charles, Illinois for a time of hiking, biking, Bible lessons, games, canoeing and a lot more.
In 2009, Riverwoods will welcome more than 1,100 youth from under-resourced communities to summer camp at no cost to their families.
