Facilitated by professional actor, director and Ontario Certified teacher, Elizabeth Van Wyck,with guest artist-teachers specializing in music direction and choreography, Scarborough Music Theatre's Summer Day Camp offers a variety of music theatre and drama activities to engage children ages 8-12 in a week filled with learning, friendship and fun. Many sessions are activities designed with a focus on creative movement, expression through the body, characterization and improvisation; guest artist workshops will mimic choral singing and choreography rehearsals that will give children a taste of the experience when rehearsing for a musical. A great opportunity to development and practice performance arts skills in a positive and fun learning environment . The camp is appopriate for children of all skill levels.
