The Summer Enrichment Camp offered by the Language Institute of Dallas International School is a 6-week camp that aims at enriching its campers’ life with the diversity of programs it offers.
Our camp is an opportunity for the campers to explore not only different skills, but also different countries, cultures, and ideas while making new friends. It is open to three age segments:
- Children: 3 to 10 years old. (These are further placed in age-groups)
- Teens: 11-19 years old (These are further placed in age-groups)
- Adults: placed in language workshops by level of fluency
The activities offered include:
- Language workshops: half-day or full day of French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic or ESL
- Martial Arts Camp: a half-day camp for 7-15 year-olds
- Creative Arts: half-day (ceramics, painting, )
- Spanish Drama: half-day (for intermediate and advanced Spanish speakers)
Creative Writing:
- Half-day (in English)
Science and Technology: half-day or full day (Robotics, Video Production, Animation, Forensics)
Chess Camp: half-day
Our campers may combine any two of these activities if they choose to enroll full day.
A complimentary lunch is served to all children and teenage campers enrolled in the full day program.
Parents can share their child's experience by enrolling in the intensive language workshops for adults in French, Spanish, Arabic or Chinese.
