Technology and creativity camps - multi-session

Left Brain & Right Brain: Technology & Creativity Summer Camp for Elementary Students

At SIL, we have a mission to innovate camps, and challenge common perception of how young can a kid learn technology effectively. We have put together camps that will stimulate students' left brain and right brain in one camp, every day. Expect the students to have some serious fun and serious learning through our tech and creativity camps, and take home skills that will leave their parents in the dust.

Session 1: Photography & Creative Story

In this session, our instructors take your kid basic skills of using a digital camera, identify a beautiful scene, and capture the moment. Further, their artistic work can optionally be included in the creative story they will be writing.

Session 2: Computer Game/Animation Design & Persuasive Writing

Kids love games, so why not have them build one? we will be teaching kids to build a game that parents may want to play, and learn the skill of persuasive writing. Both are highly sought after skills for the new age, and maybe your kid will discover his/her new passion of computer game design.

Session 3: Design a Professional Looking Website & Expository Writing

In this session SIL staff will be teaching kids to make a professional looking, mobile enabled, HTML5 website of their own using modern website creation tools. The site will be about the kids themselves and their work. For kids who have survived our Session 1 & Session 2 camps, their photographic art, stories, and writing will be published on their newly created site!
