Terrapin Adventures Ultimate Adventure camp

Zip, climb, traverse, explore, float, swing, pedal your way into a summer you won't forget.  Terrapin Adventures offer three adventure camps.

Ultimate Adventure Camp for five days of non-stop fun;  Rock n' Adventure Camp combing three days at Terrapin Adventures with 2 days at Earth Treks; and, Aventure Expeditions Camp where we spend twodays at our unique Adventure center followed by two nights and three days learning camp skills.

Campers will face their fears as they try to traverse and conquer all three levels of our 40 ft. High Ropes Challenge Course.  They will test their abilities on our 43 foot Terapin Tower.  With 12 different ways up including two rock walls, cargo net, rope ladders and tires, campers will climb to the top where they will come face to face with our Rainbow Serpent; a 40 foot updside down to the ground decent in a nylon tube net.

After all that climbing, campers will fly down our 330 ftto long zip line reaching speeds up to 20 mph.  If that's not encough, then our Giant Swing awaits.

Campers will be pulled up about 40 feet and then free fall swing experiencing 2 Gs. of force while screaming with excitement.  Other activies include mountain bike riding aong the Little Patuxent River while enjoying lunch and a dip in the river.

Campers will further exlpore the surrounding area through geo-caching.

After learning how to use our GPS, campers will search for buried caches as they learn about local plant and animal life.  We also spend a day at Patapsco Valley State Park and enjoy a fun day of river tubing and a picnic.  In our Rock n Adventure Camp, campers spend two days at Earth Treks climbing center.  On our last day we have a picnic or pizza party and campers take their skills and compete in our Olympic program.  We also offer pre & post camp care.
