Each week-long camp session includes daily instruction in ballet, tap or jazz, a snack, fine motor exercise through a theme-related craft and a unique story and dress-up dance interpretation. The curriculum features enticing classical and popular music entwined with favorite stories and fairy tales. Over 500 custom made costumes and props enhance the experience as the children dance the adventures of "An American Tail" re-enact a day in the life of "Angelina Ballerina" or magically become the prince or princess in "Sleeping Beauty".
The session culminates with a recital and reception for family and friends on the last day of the camp week.
Tiny Dancers is committed to providing a solid foundation for young dancers by emphasizing both sound technique and creative expression in its dance programs. For children under the age of six, Tiny Dancers encourages creative exploration of movement through the interpretetion of favorite stories.
Ballet Lycee fosters both technical tutelage and solid performance training for dancers age six and above. Creative exploration and advancement in technique continues while performance opportunities enhance self-esteem.
