Toodle Langa Summer Camp

At Toodle Langa, we are dedicated to putting the "CAMP" back into Summer Camp. Campers will sleep under the stars in tents in the beautiful forests of Rockcastle County and prepare all meals by campfire. They will rise to morning activities such as sunrise yoga or sleepy stretching followed by a campfire prepared breakfast.
During the day campers will divide into groups and participate in a variety of workshops and classes focusing on using Re-Purposed/Re-Used items to make art, crafts, musical instruments, t-shirts, they will learn how to turn pallet boards into useful, unique furniture and more.
We will also have a special day dedicated to a hike and workshop on being comfortable in the forest. This class will educate the children on what plants to stay away from, which plants can soothe a bee sting or sun burn, etc. This class will be taught by a certified, licensed herbalist.
In the evening, campers will gather together, prepare and share a family style dinner by campfire. After dinner there will be group gathering and recreation time in which campers can relax, roast marshmallows, tell stories, make music and  plan an end of camp performance. We will also have special guest instructors visiting in the evenings offering special demonstrations on things such as Drama, Music, Dance, Frisbee and much more! We are also currently working on a scavenger hunt that campers can participate in all week.
Toodle Langa Summer Camp is a TRUE summer CAMPING experience that will fill campers with memories to last a lifetime!
