UBC - Young Explorers Summer Day Camp

Send your child on an environmental and recreational adventure at Canada's oldest continually operating university botanical garden.

Young Explorers Summer Day Camp is a weeklong environmental and recreational adventure for children aged 7-11. The camp will create life-long connections with nature, wildlife, plants, science, and the environment through games, crafts and exploration in our 44.5 hectare (110 acres) Garden, the Greenheart Canopy Walkway, and the UBC campus.

Cost: $200/child per week  

Times: 9am to 4pm daily  

Camp Schedule: Week 1: Monday July 5 - Friday July 9, 2010 Week 2: Monday July 12 - Friday July 16, 2010 Week 3: Monday July 19 - Friday July 23, 2010 Week 4: Monday July 26 - Friday July 30, 2010 Week 5: Tuesday August 3 - Friday August 6, 2010 Week 6: Monday August 9 - Friday August 13, 2010 Week 7: Monday August 16 - Friday August 20, 2010 Week 8: Monday August 23 - Friday August 27, 2010  

Need to drop off your child earlier or pick them up later? No problem! We offer daily pre- and post-camp childcare.

Pre-camp care is offered from 8am to 9am $6/day  

Post-camp care is offered from 4pm to 5pm $6/day
