Resident Camp

Overnight campers entering Grades 1-9 are invited to live in a community-based environment designed to encourage teamwork, develop new friendships and experience personal growth. These campers are divided into one of three same-gender age groups, called "units" to best facilitate age-appropriate camping experiences.

Campers enjoy the river, climbing tower, swimming pool, crafts lodge, horses, group games and campfire circle reminiscent of the classic camp experience. As a child advances through each unit, new opportunities, new activities and new privileges are added to make campers' experiences progressive and exciting each year. Camps are co-ed by unit, single gender by cabin and one week in length.

Summer Day Camp

Day Camp is about teaching children to live and work together while fostering self-esteem in an amazing outdoor environment. Campers will participate in traditional camp activities like archery, arts and crafts, hiking, nature activities, along with new ones like the climbing tower, field games and more. Lunch is served outside daily in the picnic grove, and campers also receive a snack at the end of the day. Our staff-to-child ratio is 1 to 10. Visit our Registation Page to sign up today.

We provide daily bus service from Northeast Portland (location to be determined), Gresham (Gresham United Methodist Church, 620 NW 8th Street) and Clackamas (Sunnyside Elementary School at 13401 SE 132nd Avenue). Supervision at bus meeting locations begins at 7:30 AM and ends at 6:00 PM.

Drop off and pick up at YMCA Camp Collins is also available for day campers. Check-in and supervision at YMCA Camp Collins begins at 8:30 AM and activities start at 9:00 AM. Pick up from YMCA Camp Collins begins at 4:30 PM and supervision at camp ends at 5:00 PM.

Teen Programs

YMCA Camp Collins offers intentional programming for teens entering grades 9-12. Teen programs provide a platform for self-discovery and personal growth. Whether your teen is interested in making new friends, having a fun summer and learning about themselves or has the desire to learn how to be a leader or counselor, Camp Collins staff strive to make your teens’ goals a reality. Teen programs vary based on the different goals of teens while at camp. Most importantly, each program builds from the base of our core values of Love, Respect, Honesty, Responsibility and Service. Camp staff incorporates these values into everyday teaching and role-modeling as your teens work to build a positive identity. Through meaningful relationships with community leaders these young people move forward in developing a vision for themselves and set goals to become healthy, caring, competent adults. Visit our Registration Page to sign up today.
