YMCA Camp Minikani

Located on the shores of Amy Belle Lake, just 30 minutes from downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin, YMCA Camp Minikani was established in 1919. Generations of families have enjoyed the safe, positive environment where friendships grow and kids discover themselves. Campers thrive on the energy of Minikani. The mix of small cabin group activities and large camp games are designed to help campers build character, confidence and leadership skills.

Camp Minikani is accredited by the American Camping Association. This means we have demonstrated compliance with more than 300 individual health, safety, and program quality standards. These standards establish criteria for program, personnel, transportation, administrative procedures, health care, food service, program activities, and emergency procedures. Accreditation assures parents and campers that Camp Minikani has been measured against national standards for best practices in the camping industry and we are proud to be among only 25% of camps in the United States which are accredited.
