Testimonials

This was my daughter’s first time being away from home, so I was nervous. I loved seeing the pictures posted daily; it gave me a sense of assurance. My daughter really enjoyed herself and she can’t stop talking about going back next summer. –Sarah’s Dad

She was extremely excited to tell us everything that she did. She was happy and confident. The staff was incredible. Her goal one day is to come back as a counselor.- Allison's Mom

We have lived on Van Etten Lake for thirteen years and our daughter did more on the lake in one week at camp than she has ever done living on the lake.  She wants to spend the whole summer at camp next year!! Keep up the AWESOME JOB!!! – Claire’s Parents

My son looks forward to Nissokone more than anything else all year!  I LOVE that there's transportation to and from camp! – Matthew’s Mom

He enjoys the challenges. I like how independent he is while he’s there.  Best of all is the light in his eyes telling me about all of his experiences. – Jacob’s Parents

After listening to my daughter tell us everything she did- how she made "Besties," tried new things, and wasn't afraid of anything, she’s made me promise her that she can spend the summer there next year, which tells me she loved it! - Hannah’s Mom

I want to do something with my summer that is memorable and exciting.  Camp allows me to experience so many different things and to just be myself and feel comfortable. Ellie, CIT

This is the best camp ever! The kids have made so many happy memories and new friends here. The camp has the perfect setting, stretched out along shoreline- lots of sailing, swimming, kayaking and horseback riding. Well trained staff, great activities, nice cabins, beautiful location. Perfect!
