Splash into the world of color at the Young at Art Children's Museum. Watch your child as theypainta masterpiece of epic proportions in one of the galleries, or let them get their hands wet with clay and sculpt to their heart's content. Take a thrilling ride on the subway and plunge into the mysterious caves, or tickle your child's imagination at WonderScapes. With reading forests, Mad Hatter tea parties, and all kinds of games and activities, it will likely take more than just a day to visit everything this museum has to offer.

Marvel at the wonders of the largest butterfly park on Earth, Butterfly World. Home to an astounding 20,000 butterflies, this magical area will be sure to delight children of all ages. Look at exhibit after exhibit of butterflies from every corner of the globe, and bask in the color of exotic birds in the six free flight aviaries. Curious kids will enhance their knowledge of science when they make a pit stop at the Bug Zoo. Once you're done checking out all the wildlife, stop to smell the flowers at the lush botanical gardens and get entwined in the beautiful roses and passion vines. A beautiful waterfall will finish off an amazing day.

See all things pink at the Flamingo Gardens and Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary. This beautiful 60-acre venue boasts over 3,000 species of rare plants and houses Florida's largest collection of wildlife. Witness the majestic flamingos crane their necks and take a sip of water, or watch a vividly colored peacock stretch its plumes. Your child will love to see the soaring eagles, jovial otters, and snappy alligators on display. Wildanimallovers beware—panthers, bobcats, and black bears are also afoot. If your children are looking for an artistic twist to wildlife, be sure to check out the Children's Art classes! Members and children ages 2 and under are admitted to the sanctuary for free.
