Monumental works of art and magnificent structures make up a large part of Paris’ name. Teen travelers can begin with Leonardo DiVinci’s Mona Lisa where they will marvel at this renowned mastery of art. You’ll the mystery behind this painting and the new artistic formula displayed. Notable works of architecture are the Champs-Elysees and Arc de Triomphe, both detailed reliefs showing victorious battles and commemorates those who died fighting. No trip would be complete without a visit to the cathedral of Notre Dame, standing 400ft above the ground with 2 high towers and a spire, a classic example of French gothic architecture. Stare in awe at the rose windows, gothic carvings and spectacular sculptures.

Explore the outcome of French engineering at the Eiffel Tower. Representing the magic of light in the city, there is much to admire at the Eiffel Tower, perhaps it’s the 704 steps to reach the breathtaking top floor or just standing underneath the center of the tower and looking up. Grab a picnic and take a rest in the nearby grassy area as you gaze up at this magnificent work of art.

If you are looking to rest after all the sight-seeing, take a load off and enjoy a picnic at the most romantic park in Paris, the Luxembourg Gardens. Take a stroll through the grassy lawns, colorful gardens and fruit orchards. Observe the many sculptures that stand in the park including those of Medici Fountain, or Stendhal. Take advantage of the chess tables, tennis courts and remote control boats for your enjoyment.
