Splash around in an ultimate pool experience at the Cedar City Aquatic Center. Containing an indoor leisure pool with a water slide, an outdoor pool with a diving board, a 25-yard 8-lane lap pool, a Lazy River, and a hot tub, there are options for whatever swimming experience you are looking for. It is a great destination for kids, as the indoor pool is set up with a playground atmosphere. The Center also holds a Family Night Swim Series every Monday night from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at $10 per family (two adults and four kids) for a great value.
Visit the place that was designed by kids, for kids, at Park Discovery. This large fenced-in area is a child’s dream, as there are plenty of activities to participate in. Wooden towers, mazes, slides, and a dinosaur sand pit are just some of the things that your kids will burn hours doing. There is also a science playground portion of the park to give kids an educational time while still having fun.
Hike, bike, camp and explore at the Dixie National Forest. The park occupies almost two million acres as it stretches across southern Utah. The beautiful scenery ranges from desert-type atmospheres to lush forests filled with pines and junipers. The area offers a chance for plenty of exploration through lakes, streams, meadows, caves and even lava beds. For those looking for a supreme time with the outdoors, this is a top notch destination.
