Train hard, improve your basketball game and make friends in Boston, MA in summer 2024 with ASA Hoops! Attend one or multiple weeks of camp specifically designed to help fine-tune your fundamental skills and positional work through challenging exercises, small group drills and full-court scrimmages.
A Step Ahead (ASA) Nike Basketball Camps are designed for the player looking to improve their game and basketball IQ. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting, offense/defense, team play, and more.

Camp Director George Moses
George Moses, is a Director with A Step Ahead and has responsibilities for: Corporate Operations, Boys and Girls AAU (Greater Boston and South), Nike Basketball/ASA Hoops Summer Camps and Player Training and Development (Including after school, holiday and specialty clinics). In addition to his role with ASA, Coach Moses serves as an Assistant Dean of Students within the Boston Public School, system giving him a unique perspective that we welcome here at ASA.

Co-Director Ashley Gomes
Ashley Gomes is entering her 4th year with the ASA AAU program, where she's coached boys from 5th-8th grade. She coaches basketball year-round between AAU, Nike camps, and the winter season.

The ASA Hoops coaching staff is made up of some of the most talented and seasoned coaches in New England! All of the ASA coaches are trained and registered to ensure all campers receive high-quality instruction in a fun and safe environment.

Check-in: Monday at 8AM
Closing Ceremony: Friday at 1PM
Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a packed lunch.

Coed III:
Check-in: Monday at 8AM

PRE-CAMP CHECKLIST

PACKING LIST
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

Winsor School offers a new athletic facility which includes; five international squash courts, a gymnasium, two NCAA basketball courts each with six baskets, two NCAA volleyball courts, a yoga/wellness room, and a multipurpose activity room.
