Join the TWU Department of Nutrition & Food Sciences for a fun and engaging virtual summer camp.
Campers ages 6 to 17 will have a blast learning how to cook nutritious, delicious meals right in the comfort of their own home. Our campers will discover ways to properly fuel their bodies and enjoy a variety of different foods.
Ages 12 to 17 will learn more advanced culinary techniques, and all campers will learn fun physical activities!
All campers get access to:

- Kitchen safety lessons
- Tons of fitness & nutrition tips
- The opportunity to learn new recipes and try new foods!
Days in camp will be flexible, including small-group Zooms to cook together with other kids, recorded content, written content and activities to do at home as you have time. A sample schedule (featuring camp recipes from last year) is below:
9 am: Group Introductions & Welcome (Zoom)
9:10 a.m.: Break
9:30 a.m.: Morning Physical Activity (on your own)
10 a.m.: Kitchen & Food Safety Lesson (recorded)
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Cook lunch together in small groups (Zoom)
1 p.m.: Afternoon Physical Activity (on your own)
2:30-3:30 p.m.: Afternoon Snack Preparation & Lesson Discussion (Zoom)
