Camp BTI-Boys and Girls Club

Position: Camp Counselor, Camp BTI Summer 2005
Salary: May 31st-August 5th; $500-$600 per session based on experience
Job Description: The camp counselor’s job is to organize and direct all scheduled camp activities for assigned group of campers. Ability to communicate effectively; adapt to changes in schedule and weather; teach basic skills in archery, sports, crafts, nature and canoeing are required. The camp counselors report directly to the Camp Director. Counselors are required to meet specific program objectives for each camp session. Counselors must create a safe, fun, clean atmosphere for campers to participate in.
Skills & Qualifications: Must be able to lead, teach and participate in all program areas assigned by the camp schedule; must be willing to take part fully in the overnight campout scheduled the 2^nd Thursday of each camp session; must be physically capable of working in the outdoors daily during the entire 10 week summer day camp program.
