Job Description
Towanda Times Specialist: Skills: Creative/ News Paper Writing Computer Generated Page Layout (Illustrator& Photoshop etc) Digital Photography Skills Above average Computer Skills (Word, Web uploading and downloading, Outlook) Superior Time management skills Must be able to put in long hours and handle multiple projects. Responsibilities: Download and print daily camper Emails Download from automated email server each morning. Send to printer Fulfill daily shot list of Camp Divisions and upload daily photos of Division to web-site Each day of the week is assigned a Camper division for upload. Process pictures, place in folder and batch upload through automated system. Cover all evening activities Write review of activity upload with pictures to the web-site Gather all names and dates of activity for articles. Assign stories to interested campers Prepare the article for Towanda Times layout Towanda Times Create content for Towanda Times Gather articles and pictures from that weeks events for layout Organize camper input for weekly issues. (stories, picts, artwork) Print Towanda Times, manage collation and mailing. ( DO NOT PANIC! There is a team effort here!) As the TT specialist your duties are numerous and are not limited to, but primary to, the above assignments. The Towanda Times Specialist is the history writer of the Camp summer. He/She must get pictures of all events, all campers weekly, keep accurate record of events participants and dates. This position is demanding and very important; your work will be the history that the summer happened.Job Criteria
