Job Description
Looking for Summer Camp Counselors who have Theater Background (acting, fight choreography, prop and costume design) and lots of experience working with kids.Guard Up! Family Swordsmanship is running 4 weeks of Residential (Overnight) Summer Camp in 2009 in Charlton, MA. 2009 Camp Sessions are July 5-17 and July 26-Aug 7 (with additional sessions being added in 2010). Training week is June 29 - July 3. If you are looking for summer-long employment, we can schedule you for both the residential camp and the day camp held in Burlington, MA.
The residential camp is a Theme Camp for boys and girls ages 10-15, based on a Fantasy/Medieval plot where kids (and counselors) play characters, solve mysteries and fight monsters with foam swords.

Swordsmanship experience a plus, but not necessary. We can train you. Pay is up to $2,000 for the 5 weeks (1 week of training, 4 weeks of camp) plus room and board for work days at residential camp. Day camp pays $250/week plus training bonus.
We pay one of the highest counselor rates in the industry because we want mature decision makers.
