Job Description
Camp Skylemar is a well-established (since 1948) recreational summer camp, located in the Lakes Region of southern Maine. Located on a 200 acre wooded campsite overlooking the White Mountains and a beautiful spring-fed lake, Skylemar offers a nurturing atmosphere with an emphasis on FUN. We seek an instructor to direct basic archery program for novice boys ages 8 – 14. Instructor will be involved with other fun camp activities, special events and trips. Counselors live with kids in a cabin. Applicants should have archery experience, and must have completed at least one year of college. We will certify you as camp level archery instructor. We seek fun, dynamic, responsible role-model who enjoys working with children. You will receive a salary of $2000 and up for the 8 week season, depending on skills and experience. We also cover room, board, travel expenses, and laundry service. Internship credit available. Position runs mid June through mid August.
