Job Description
The Camp White Eagle (CWE) staff director takes on a variety of tasks and supervisory duties over the course of the season. The assistant director and the staff director work together to make sure camp is running smoothly and maintaining high standards. The staff director's responsibilities are as follows: Lead staff training Oversee all program staff Coordinate staff schedules with Office Manager Direct liaison to group directors: communicate daily basis to maintain professional programs Lead/organize staff meetings Conduct weekly/monthly reviews of program staff Ensure that staff is continually trained on new projects/activities Work directly with Assistant Director Ensure reports of incidents and accidents are completed Report any concerns of program staff to Director Function as Dining Hall Coordinator Keep staff informed of any changes in weekly programs Ensure programs and activities are appropriate to the camper population. Facilitate setup of various evening programs (campfires, night hikes, overnight camp outs, etc.)Job Criteria
