Job Description
Camp Skylemar is currently seeking an experienced and qualified individual to run our extremely popular waterfront programs. Beautiful, spring-fed, Three mile long, picturesque lake.We are looking for someone who has experience teaching children, maintaining safety standards, supervising lifeguards, managing staff, supervising swim lessons and non-motorized boating activities. Waterfront Director will also be an active member of our leadership team and assist with evening activities, special events and rainy day activities. The waterfront director participates in senior staff meetings. We offer a competitive salary, with housing, meals, internet access, staff shirts, laundry service and travel expenses. Possible scholarships for children. Position runs from June 12 - August 16, 2011. Additional information is available on our website skylemar.com
Candidates should have prior summer camp waterfront experience and hold the following certifications WSI, LGI or LGT. Candidates must be over 21 years of age and have strong organizational and leadership skills.
The salary depends on experience and certifications.
