Job Description
Stone Mountain Adventures (SMA) is a co-ed camp for 12-16 year olds located in central Pennsylvania near Penn State University. We are currently hiring MOUNTAIN BIKING INSTRUCTORS. We are very luck to have many trails to ride each day including the new Alligripis trail at Raystown Lake, 30 miles of single track riding! http://raystown.org/outdoor-fun/allegrippis-trails.html Responsibilities Include: -Lead mountain biking activities everyday -Teach campers biking skills, trail etiquette & safety -Maintain our fleet of 15 mountain bikes -Share in general camp counselor responsibilities (sleeping in bunks, etc) -Lead other camp activities (sports, white water rafting, service, etc) Applicants should have a passion for mountain biking, some experience working with kids and have a positive outlook on life. You should also be excited about the prospect of getting paid to "play & ride” for the summer. Applicants must also be 21+ years old and have a valid drivers license. Internships Available. All Instructor live at camp for the summer. Contracts run from 6/15 to 8/14. First Aid & CPR training included.
