Job Description
eCamp is an Jewish hi-tech summer camp for children and teens ages 8-18. After 4 successful years in Israel, we are opening a new location in the US and looking for a year-round camp director for summer 2012. Primary duties: The camp director will work to oversee the development, administration, implementation and evaluation of all camp programs. The camp director will be responsible for marketing the camp and recruiting campers. The camp director will hire, guide, supervise and evaluate the eCamp US Staff and Madrichim. The camp director will be responsible for the camp’s operations and for working with vendors. Be the on-site camp director during the summer. Report to eCamp’s Israel office. Qualifications: 2-7 years of summer camp experience in a managing position. Passion for working with children and teens in a Jewish camp atmosphere. Ability to Motivate and inspire people. Experience at working in a computerized environment. Experience in managing and supervising other development personnel Enthusiasm for creating a new program and leading it. Training for this position will include orientation in Israel during summer 2011. This position is full time and located in the US. Winter office location is flexible.
