Position Summary:

A Production Assistant is responsible for critical behind-the-scenes tasks associated with the successful production of daily camp operations.  

Position Objective/Purpose:

We are seeking motivated team members who believe deeply in the organization’s mission and who display a record of achievement in prioritizing and completing multiple tasks simultaneously. Candidates must be capable of managing their time effectively, prioritizing daily tasks and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities                                                                                   

1. Daily set-up and break down of equipment
2. Assist throughout the day with various responsibilities including: pick-up, drop-off, lunch, water, late campers, snack delivery, and camp supplies
3. Maintain snack and supply inventory; receive deliveries, prep orders
4. Ensure compliance with ESF golf cart safety guidelines
5. Help to ensure that camp facilities are clean, organized, and well-maintained
6. Work effectively with co-workers and collaborate on various responsibilities
7. Complete paperwork as assigned
8. Serve as a positive role model to campers
9. Follow the ESF Code and maintain the ESF Look at all times
10. Exhibit ESF Core Values at all times and to adhere to all company policies
11. Have fun

Experience Requirements

1. Previous work experience (preferred)

Education Requirements

1.       Minimum of 18 years of age

2.       High School Graduate pursuing a college degree

Other Skill Requirements

1. Outstanding communication skills which include the ability to use clear, concise and grammatically correct written and oral language in all aspects of professional interaction with campers, their families, peers, leadership team and the larger community
2. Valid driver’s license or permit

Reporting Relationship(s)

1.       Reports directly to and takes direction from Site Director.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

1.       Ability to push/pull, lift and carry a minimum of 35Ibs

2. Endurance to work outside and on your feet for 6-8 hours per day
3. Ability to respond to emergency situations which may require running (up to 1 mile in some cases) and climbing stairs.
4. Good physical condition which enables candidate to execute all responsibilities associated with this position
