Job Description

Responsibilities include: Working CAMP hours! If you have ever worked a camp before you know what this means. Camp is a 24-hour job 7 days a week for the duration of camp and training week. Even when you are off you are living in the dorms and on call in the case of emergencies 24 hours a day. If you thrive in a “Life Accelerated” atmosphere, thrive on meeting new people and take pride in who you are and how you come across, this might be the right for you.

The focused hours are as follows: -Teachers 8:30am – 4pm including evening responsibilities approximately 3 days a week.

    Responsibilities for Teachers:
  • Overseeing student safety
  • Curriculum planning
  • Teaching
  • Running Activities outside of the classroom
  • Staff meetings
  • Field trip supervision
  • Being present and aware of the students
  • Checking in with Director and/or Academic Director
  • Setting the stage for the summer, SAFE AND FUN

    Program Details:
  • Multi-week programs, sessions, and training on-site
  • All room and board provided and required attendance
  • All staff members are required to live in the dorms for the duration of camp
  • Pay commensurate with experience
  • Dates are July Through Early August.

    Applicant must be / have:
  • Camp experience preferred
  • A Bachelors Degree
  • Organized
  • Ability to display clear confident leadership
  • Good public speaker
  • Ability to delegate
  • Multitask
  • Experience with youth leadership
  • Preferred, First Aid / CPR certified
  • Teaching experience
  • Preferred, Attended a camp as a child/teen
