Job Description
"Trip staff" is a special type of counselor position aimed at running fun, safe, and professional off-camp trips. They are a team of staff that work together to bring our "trip calendar" to life - we take 2 two 3 trips a week in canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, backpacking, fly fishing, and mountain biking. The "trip staff" work for both camps and make these trips a reality by, among other things, communciating closely with staff in that activity. A typical trip staff person is a multi-discipline athlete with some experience lead climbing and whitewater paddling, though we hire all of the skills mentioned earlier. Trip staff do not live in cabins with campers and must be willing to obtain a WFA, WFR, or lifeguard certification before summer begins.Job Criteria
