Camp Mason YMCA

Mason Outdoor Center accommodates schools and all types of youth groups from late August through late June. Group sizes range from 25 to 400 people. Not only do we already have a full inventory of equipment for education, recreation, and AV programs, but we can work with and accommodate many special needs and interests. And don't forget winter! We have over 150 sets of cross country skis, plenty of trails, snow shoes, ice skating, ice fishing, and an awesome sled hill lit for night sledding. Major down hill ski areas are 15 minutes away. If you are a school administrator, with a class or group of youngsters who would like their own special outdoor spot to learn and have fun - we invite you to visit and inspect Mason. Some other examples of groups who come to Camp Mason include Church Retreats, scouts (boy and girl), cubs, Y Teens, Leader Clubs, hiking, outdoor and outing clubs, Y Adventure Guides and Princesses, sport camps, college/university associations, student governments, advisors, workshops, etc. Camp Mason Family Camps are a wonderful way to spend uninterrupted time with your family in a beautiful setting. The only problem you will have is trying to decide what activity to do next; there is so much happening! Camp Ken-Etiwa-Pec, KEP, is operated by the Y, in cooperation with the U.S. National Park Service, for the purpose of offering both summer time opportunities to recognized youth organizations not available at presently operating facilities, and to offer a May-June, and September-October, option to groups and schools wishing to handle much or all of their own program.
