Explore the solar system with your children at the HR MacMillan Space Center. Take off into an adventure through the night sky with a guided planetarium presentation explaining the most recentastronomydiscoveries. Lounge in the planetarium's seats while you and the kids learn how the Earth is able to support life, or take in a film under the stars in the planetarium theater when you watch a popular science fiction movie.

Immerse your children in the wonders of the ocean at the Vancouver Aquarium. Sink into discovery of interesting sea creatures at the special Sea Monsters Revealed exhibit, where your little marine biologist can observe what these animals look like inside and out. Unearth our amazing planet in an interactive room dedicated to the diversity of marine life around the globe, featuring a giant rotating replica of the planet. Then plunge into theworld of frogswhen you and the kids march down a spiral staircase to tour the vanishing realm of amphibians and find out what it might mean for our planet. Be sure to check out the aquarium's camp programs, perfect for any child with an interest in marine science.

Dash into nature at the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. The whole family can burn off energy as they adventure through the various ecosystems. Waddle along the shore and look for different types of ducks.
