Packed with fun-filled lessons, Cal State University Dominguez Hills offer extraordinary summer camps for computer enthusiasts. From the history of games, to the making of their own characters and stories, to the craftsmanship of animation and design, kids are lead through an intensive journey that will inspire them to create. With lessons in Web Design, Video Game Design, Animation, and Advanced Computer Game Design, they will acquire unique hands-on experience, and become conversant with the programs and software that professionals use to create the magical worlds they enjoy.

The Stub Hub Center hosts professional competitions and training facilities, and annually opens its doors to offer camps just for kids! Uniquely partnered with the LA Galaxy soccer team, kids have the amazing chance of training under the leadership of professional soccer players, among them the legendary American striker Landon Donovan. So dust off your soccer cleats, join the training sessions, and improve your headers and shots at this world-class sports center!

Totaling 12 parks and 120 acres of parkland, opportunities for stepping into nature abound in Carson. True to their motto “parks make life better,” activities and special programs are offered year-round, ranging from Basketball Clinics, to Dance Camps, to Family Movie Nights. And to cool off in the summer sunshine, water-fun is made amply available, with pools and slides located in a variety of parks and centers. Among them, The Dominguez Aquatic Center offers amazing slides and pools for older ones to swim in, and a zero-depth kiddie pool where the youngest can scream and splash until the sun goes down.
