Get away from it all on Sonoma Mountain, home of the Fairfield Osborn Preserve. Although reservations are required to visit this spot of natural beauty, the extra step is worth the effort. A tour with anaturalistpresents everything you want to know about the preserve’s natural history, and combines education with the great outdoors. Docent naturalist training, and environmental education programs are also offered.

Skate the day away at Cal Skate, an indoor skating rink guaranteed to entertain by day or by night. Try out Kid’s Skate on Tuesdays, or go for the arcade games and pool table for some family fun. Improve your skating skills with an inline speed skating or roller derby lesson. If you’re feeling festive, Cal Skate can also host your party or group event.
